This is a common way to implement a burglar alarm as part of a fourth grade open-ended engineering challenge. For more info and a detailed lesson, plan see “Elementary Engineering: Sustaining the Natural Engineering Instincts of Children.”

John, Hello. I purchased your book and have a question. I am building curriculum with Scratch and Lego. I wanted to ask how you were able to use the Lego wedo models and also the Wedo block Icons in your book. I did not see reference to permission to use and want to make sure I am doing the book right by using their pictures. Did you get permissions, or are these ok to use. I will be doing a Kickstarter campaign, mainly just for the challenge I have several lessons ready. But, need a few pictures like are in your book.
Just in case you do not get this email. I will post in another forum
Thanks, Robin
